Berlin Neue Mitte is orientated towards residents who want comfortable living in a very central location. The complex comprises a total of 113 contemporary condominium apartments with residential areas between 50 m² and 159 m². They have 1 to 5 rooms and all have a balcony, loggia or terrace. There is a sealed and ready-to-use engineered wood parquet flooring with underfloor heating throughout. Modern sanitary fittings and high-quality ceramic tiles, underfloor heating and extra-height doors in habitable rooms come as standard. The two-storey foyers offer step-free access to the lifts. To the rear, Berlin Neue Mitte has a communal garden area. Other features of this successful project include an underground garage, bicycle stands accessible from the outside and part brickwork façades.
Timeless architecture in a sophisticated environment
The architect Stephan Höhne chose a functional and elegant architectural language for Berlin Neue Mitte. He arranged the buildings as a typical Berlin-style block-edge development based on the traditional continental European model. A rounded and slightly elevated corner building forms the striking centrepiece of the entire ensemble. Its façade is clad in black brickwork strips, which form an exciting contrast with the white rendered horizontal lintels, the white window frames and the white balcony walls. French windows with light-coloured fabric sun blinds and an open corner loggia give the building its homely character. The overall effect is emphasised by the clear differentiation of the individual buildings. Three ground-floor retail units distributed across the entire complex emphasise the inner-urban cityscape.
