Hafenspitze Eckernförde is a waterfront maritime neighbourhood created by us in the Baltic seaside resort of Eckernförde. The harbour district of the over 700 year old town was previously characterised by industrial use and the area was dominated by warehouses, barracks and other commercial buildings. This prime location was not particularly attractive and was unappealing to tourists. After we won the investor competition in 2008 and four years of project design and planning, the construction of the major project with a total of 154 units to be completed in various building phases began in 2012.
